Why This Resource Exists
Minnesota makes many government records available under its data laws, but the records are held by different offices. The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff records a local jail release or transfer. Minnesota DOC runs the offender search for people committed to state corrections and those still under state jurisdiction. Court records preserve the judge's orders and disposition, while 6W Community Corrections handles local supervision work.
